The challenges IT security professionals face are constantly evolving.

From issues involving wired and wireless device security to Bluetooth technology, IoT, and BYOD programs, Pwnie Express researchers want to get to the bottom of these concerns with insight from the people who deal with them every day.

That’s why each year we survey hundreds of IT security professionals to uncover these challenges and seek proactive solutions that will keep their networks safe. This is the 4th consecutive year Pwnie Express has compiled the Internet of Evil Things Report, and the findings are more relevant than ever for IT security pros.

Some of the key findings of the IoET report include:

  • One-third of IT security professionals said the biggest impact of a cyber attack is negative brand perception.
  • 50% believe that there are connected devices accessing their networks that they are unaware of.
  • 60% said they don’t know what connected devices are coming into the office.
  • Only 1 in 3 said devices purchased by their organization are cleared by security personnel.

This is only a snapshot of what we’ve uncovered in the 2018 Internet of Evil Things Report. To gain full access, fill out the form on this page to download the report. These insights could provide valuable information your organization needs to protect its network.
